In which I announce the country selection of February for INVISIBLE CITIES and share three books I might be picking up. If you have any questions about the project - feel free to reach out in the comments, or to one of the other hosts - we'll do our best to help you out.
WHAT IS INVISIBLE CITIES?
A reading project encouraging you to read and discuss translated literature, as well as optionally taking part in other parts of the countries’ culture (movies, music, food, etc.). NOTE! If you can read books in the original language (e.g. Arabic, French) that is very much welcome.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We will select 3 countries for each month; we will then be reading books from one or more of those countries during the month and discuss them with you. The countries will be announced 2 months in advance, giving you time to gather your supplies.
HOW CAN YOU TAKE PART?
All of the hosts will create videos/posts surrounding the project - discussing the books we are reading for the countries. If you create your own content, use the hashtag #invisiblecitiesproject on the social media platform of your choice. You can also join us in discussions on Discord, link below!
