The 100 degree weather is intense. I was born in Atlantic City and my family moved to the Phoenician valley of Arizona when I was 5. In the valley of the sun it was not uncommon to reach 130F degrees. As kids we would fry eggs in the street. These days the summer sun is like kryptonite.
