i cannot tell you how long this took me i lost a good chunk of my sanity finishing this but it was WORTH IT.
The life of this unnamed protagonist is definitely one of interest; key moments in his life as depicted in the animation such as being made a fool of for entertainment, escorting the vice principle of his college to the far reaches of the county where he meets Trueblood and then promptly passes out to stress, a work injury that renders him unable to remember his name, and watching a riot break out on the streets that force him to live underground are all examples of obstacles that he had to overcome mentally, and physically. Throughout his life, this "invisible man" has been told what to do and what to think, however, as he develops in character towards the end of the book, he becomes invested in the idea of rebellion. He is, for one, sick of people telling him how to think. He chose to live underground, one to reflect on his past actions, and two to rebuild a new life for himself, one where he is the author of his own choices.
