Drugmakers are developing a new generation of hair loss treatments, including lotions, pills and longer-lasting injections, targeting a US market where tens of millions of men and women experience pattern hair loss. Joining Christina Ruffini and Bailey Lipschultz on Bloomberg This Weekend is Bloomberg News Equities Reporter Avalon Pernell says some treatments could seek approval and reach the market as soon as 2027, drawing investor interest in companies hoping to tap consumers already willing to spend heavily on hair restoration.
