In 2025, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania completed their integration with the European energy system – a significant step for the region’s energy security and independence. Today, roughly 35-40 per cent of energy comes from wind, solar and hydropower.
Many of these projects are backed by the European Union through InvestEU guarantees and advisory support, helping mobilise private investment and build a more secure, sustainable energy future for the Baltic states and Europe.
