Inventory Optimization Planning in Oracle Supply Chain Planning helps organizations balance service level performance with inventory investment across a multi-echelon supply chain network. This demo shows how planners can analyze relationships across products and organizations using a network view that highlights inventory positioning and safety stock throughout upstream and downstream nodes. Dynamic visualization makes it easier to understand how inventory flows through the network and identify areas where service level risk is increasing. The Inventory Optimization Advisor identifies the components and subassemblies that have the greatest influence on service level shortfalls, combining service level sensitivity with cost information to help prioritize adjustments. Safety stock recommendations remain connected to the underlying analysis so planners can review and update values with confidence. Once validated, computed safety stock values can be used as demand schedules for replenishment planning, supply planning, and sales and operations planning. The result is more effective inventory placement, improved service levels, and better-informed trade-offs across the supply chain.
