This did happen but it was mostly implications of their backstory during the Soaring the Skies of Motivation story I made (this short vid is meant to be a cutscene I was supposed to make but I lost motivation, ironically ahekgkfkgk)
Basically in this vid, after a fight with their parents, Grapevine Satyr was trying to cheer up Currant Satyress by encouraging her to explore Earthbread with him if they had a chance to get out of their abusive royal household. Currant doubts this will happen and just smiled while still thinking her brother is merely deluding himself (He's trying his best to be genuinely happy 💔)
The next scene happens when their parents were gone during the war (NumiVirtues are still missing, they disappeared long before this). Grapevine vented his troubles about how difficult it is to deal with the grief of losing Divinus while managing the kingdom's affairs. Currant laughs at seeing him finally break from his usual self that tries to be happy, but then she realized that at least he's trying to be happy, unlike her who resorted to drinking wine to forget her negative emotions
