Hey jammers! This workshop covers some basic principles of game audio, including sound design, interactive music, dialogue, and audio implementation. Source code and project files of demonstrations are available right below; the workshop will also provide resources for finding existing audio assets, commonly used tools, and avenues for further learning and exploration.
David Su is a musician, audio software engineer, sound designer, and game developer. He is currently an audio programmer at Brass Lion Entertainment, and was previously at Bad Dream Games and the MIT Media Lab. David's work has been featured in outlets such as NPR, Rolling Stone, and PC Gamer, as well as at events such as the Bit Awards, Independent Games Festival, Indie MEGABOOTH at PAX East, and SXSW. David has done incredible work with us here at Playcrafting and we're so grateful to have him host this wonderful game audio workshop!
