When TenPoint set out to build its 2026 lineup, the engineering team had one goal: make the most accurate crossbow we've ever built. This is the story of how the Ultra Series came to be — analyzing every aspect of the bow that affects accuracy and rebuilding those systems from the ground up. The result: 70% tighter groups at 100 yards, driven by new Zero-Torsion Technology and the ACU-X arrow and string system.

The story: Progress is never still — it's refining, sharpening, and pushing accuracy to its purest form. TenPoint's 2025 bows were the pinnacle of the brand's technology, so when the team set out to build for 2026, they came to engineering with a single goal: make the most accurate crossbow they had ever built. That meant analyzing the entire lineup, identifying every element that affects accuracy, and rebuilding those systems from the ground up. In that pursuit, the Ultra was born.
As crossbow speeds and draw forces climbed, the axle began to flex — inducing vibration that worked against accuracy. The answer was Zero-Torsion Technology: a new 8mm axle paired with a new wide-limb design that reduces bending through the limb-and-cam assembly, pulls torsion out of the limb, and keeps everything symmetric through the shot cycle for greater accuracy and durability.
Accuracy also demanded a better arrow. The ACU-X project optimized the fletching, spine, and shaft construction — but the biggest driver was the nock. Moving to a snap-on nock keeps it positively engaged on the string without the hard press-fit that wears down the center serving. Engineered around standard string dimensions and tested across serving tolerances and twist directions, the nock delivers consistent snap-on force from shot 100 to shot 500. Paired with a new premium string built to go three, four, and five hundred shots in some cases without replacement, it's a system the team calls far superior to anything they've tested — their own past models or other manufacturers'.
In the end, it all comes back to the hunter: the more confidence the equipment provides at distance, the more confident and ethical the shot when it counts.
