We’re excited to introduce new observability capabilities in the Azure Cosmos DB vNext Emulator, now instrumented with OpenTelemetry! In this video, we walk through how you can trace requests using Jaeger to accelerate debugging and streamline the development of Azure Cosmos DB applications. We also demonstrate how to integrate Prometheus to capture rich, detailed metrics from applications running with the emulator. These powerful tools make it easier than ever to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize your Azure Cosmos DB workloads during development.
