Zaire is a traditional midwife, clinical herbalist, and scholar who bridges ancestral healing with modern practice. With over 20 years as an initiated Ifá/Orisa practitioner, she brings a culturally rooted, spiritually informed approach that honors lineage, land, and wisdom.
Trained under Grand Midwife Dr. S. Ndaeyo Opio, Zaire holds advanced certifications in herbalism, women’s health, and midwifery — and is completing her doctorate in Natural Medicine. She is also the visionary founder behind Mystic Momma Herbals and Sankofa Birthkeepers Journey, empowering birthworkers through decolonized, holistic education.
