DOK-ING's NRE fleet consists of three machines that together complete the drilling, cleaning and anchoring process. Drilling is done by NRE Drill Rig with purpose of drilling the panels in order to prepare them for blasting. The NRE Dozer handles cleaning backlog ore/sweepings, roadways cleaning and panel entrances (holing) cleaning Finally, the purpose of NRE Support Rig is to install self drilling roof bolts (SDR’s) to hanging wall of narrrow reef stopes.
The NRE fleet is competitive in the market with the fact that the tracked chassis and electric drive allows the fleet to operate on slopes up to 22°. This capability to function on higher slopes enables the exploitation of deposits that are otherwise unreachable or unprofitable using conventional machines and results in substantial cost savings due to increased flexibility in mine design.
Operating the NRE fleet to perform all functions is possible from a safe operating distance due to its lightweight, standalone remote control.
