Cholesin is a brand new hormone, it’s not just new to me, it’s new to the world – it made its official debut in March this year.

It has definitely created quite a buzz in the world of cholesterol, although truth be told, it’s existence is not really a surprise. It makes sense that there would be a regulatory system in place switch off cholesterol production/release when cholesterol containing foods are eaten. The same thing happens for glucose.

Animal studies suggest cholesin can lower plasma cholesterol levels – basically it’s “tricking” the body into believing more cholesterol has come in.
Putting a hold on cholesterol production.

It will be years before cholesin-based drugs come to the market, so it’s not a tool you will be able to use to lower your cholesterol. No worries. There are plenty of other biological “tricks” to take care of cholesterol problems. Visit my cholesterol library page to learn more or sign up for a one-on-one health conversation to get ideas and strategies tailor made for your biology/situation.
