With the mere touch of a button on the Garmin touchscreen controller, the Vision Jet's airborne weather radar will enter "auto" mode, causing the system to automatically adjust horizontal and vertical scan patterns to volumetrically scan areas of inflight precipitation, providing the pilot with the most optimal picture of the weather ahead. Pilot workload is reduced and safety margins are increased.
