On March 1st, 2025, The Richland Police Department were called to a traffic collision in village parkway, Washington. When officers arrived at the scene they were met with a gruesome sight, a motorcyclist had crashed into an SUV.
As first responders begin to investigate, the driver of the SUV, Sarah Clasen, makes it known that she's an officer for the Washington State Police & had served with the department for nearly 15 years.
After taking a statement from Sarah, the responding officer asks Sarah if she’ll take some field sobriety tests to assist with the investigation. However, she refuses. That coupled with the fact that Sarah stunk of alcohol, she was arrested for vehicular homicide.
No charges have been placed against her at this time, the prosecution are waiting for blood results before moving forward.
