Don't know about you guys, but I just can't get enough of the opening sequence I've got up there. Perhaps cuz it's aged like fine wine, all thanks to the tasteless times we're living these days and what not; because one thing's for sure: in times of crisis, the masses shall always seek out the solace of the media.

What follows will too prove to be one riveting tale of finding solace; one that, in my attempt of stitching together the remarkable story told by the Korean film Inside Men, will be taking you through the smoke-surfaced waters of loyalty and servitude that one daring gangster valued more than anything.

Amidst a collision with the organized crime world and what it took to be part of it, feral gangster An Sang-Goo places his trust in the hands of one perhaps too influential and too well-intentioned journalist. But as history dictates, appearances can only deceive for so long: you will witness the truest faces soon beginning to finally reveal themselves in one grotesque flourish of delusional grandeur, pushing trust and loyalty to their very edge.

With that being said, this description will not be complete, however, without me properly acknowledging the existence and progress of this edit. As you can see up there, I have submitted and managed to get a pretty good placing in this year's CreaCon, following my attempt from last year. But this idea would not have materialized without it first making its shy beginnings as an entry to Zona's Arcade Battle IC from November 2019, which also marked my first attempt at editing live-action in an IC! Noww, the most important thing about this event though (apart from my placing as 9th overall and 7th solo in it) was the wonderful interaction with the hosts and judges of the contest, which had left me with an amazingly welcoming feeling all throughout, which lasted enough to encourage me to have all the more reason to breathe new life into that edit... and thus, it's here. I'm here. Reaching out through the most gigantic digital hugs to Darkio, KuRo, Lyon and last but not least, the wonderful Bimyou, who's getting an extra one today since it's her gosh darned birthday!! Can you believe that? They're totally getting kudos for amazingly thorough explanations and details about their judging process that they've disclosed to the contestants shortly after the results were posted. That together with seeing as part of them enjoyed my entry so much that they had it show up on their forum as part of their top favorites served as great boosts for my morale and self-esteem, keeping me going for another... many months :D

SO THANK YOU LADS, YOU ROCK.

And while I'm here, would also like to give a big shoutout to my super old pal on the road (:D), my man Edward, for keeping the flame of support burning any time I'd spam him with my project ideas and progress and what not, bearing my excitement like a champ; oh and for also being my Korean film dealer as of recently, ha! The same goes for the lad Scottster, whom I dare say I've almost fully and shamelessly converted to Korean film fanboying after all this time in which he's gracefully put up with my K-rants.
