Monday night’s program at the EAA Fly-In Theater, presented by PenFed, was billed as a tribute to Jimmy Stewart, featuring a look behind the scenes at the upcoming biopic Jimmy, which focuses on the actor’s wartime service as a bomber pilot, followed by a screening of Strategic Air Command. Mother Nature had other plans so the screening had to be canceled, but EAA’s host Hal Bryan, with the assistance of Executive Producer Amy Mitchell, moved indoors and recorded the interview that was meant to happen in front of a live audience. Hal’s guests were cast members Jen Lilley, who plays Stewart’s wife, Gloria; Rob Riggle, who plays his mentor Col. Terrill; along with Commemorative Air Force B-24 pilot Al Benzing, who supported the production as a technical advisor.
