Very interesting interview with official Laurel and Hardy biographer and founder of the Sons Of The Desert, John 'Jack' McCabe. This interview was recorded in November 1980 by Bert Newton on radio station 3UZ in Melbourne, Australia. Bert Newton is one of the true legends of Australian television (still going strong) and played Oliver Hardy in a sketch and did a presentation on the careers of L&H (including scenes from "County Hospital") on "The Don Lane Show" which led to Don and Bert appearing as L&H on the cover of Australia's national television magazine, TV Week in 1979.
