Had a great interview with Jay the Plant Based Athlete. We covered a little on his childhood diet, his athletic interests and health in high school and college. We move on to his transition to a high raw diet that is low fat and high in fruit. We got into the benefits he experienced, his dropping of unhealthy habits like 8 shots of espresso a day.
Jay is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu enthusiast and has competed at a high level with guys much younger than himself. He currently resides in Hawaii and we talked a little about getting fruit there. We also covered supplementation and water. This down to earth guy takes a practical, no bs approach. We also touch on the ethics and ecology of this way of living. I think you'll enjoy the interview.
