Joanne Harris is the author of over 30 books (accounts differ!) including the remarkable bestseller Chocolat. Her latest book, The Moonlight Market, is a return to the fantasy genre: a fairy-tale taking place in and around Kings Cross in London.
When we started this show we hoped that one day we would have the opportunity to bring our questions to some of the biggest authors in the SFF space. Little did we know we would get the opportunity as soon as episode 2.
We asked Joanne to choose books from a number of prompts, forming the eight books that were foundational in her author journey and made her into the writer she is today.
This was one of those wonderful life-affirming conversations with a truly extraordinary woman, and we are so grateful to Joanne for her time.
