Robert Machado | Interview Lighting with ONE Light! (Aputure LightStorm LED & FS7) @robchado | Uploaded 6 years ago | Updated 2 hours ago
Here's a super simple breakdown on my interview lighting setup using just one light. The panel we're using is the Aputure LightStorm LS1s (daylight balanced) with a CTO gel shooting through a 2x3 silk. We wrapped our light just beyond the nose and flagged off any excess light for negative fill.
Camera Specs:
Sony FS7
Sigma 35mm 1.4
ND .6 (internal)
Metered at F2
This is one of my go-to lighting setups for interviews because it requires setting up minimal lights and gives a natural supplement to the surrounding environment. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments below.
