In a series of acclaimed biographies Chris Salewicz has examined with insight and acumen the lives of some of our era’s most iconic and influential musicians – Bob Marley, Joe Strummer and Jimmy Page--- to name but a few. Here at Interview City, in conversation with fellow NME alumnus Paul Morley, he chronicles his own life story, from his Mod days in the North, to his early days in journalism in 70s America, to his introduction to Jamaica at the deep end.

Speedealer is an American punk band hailing from Texas. Speedealer first formed in 1992 in Lubbock, TX. The original line-up consisted of Jeff Hirshberg on vocals, Chris Brown on drums, Rodney Skelton on bass, and James Follis on guitar. After a brief hiatus, the band re-formed in Dallas, TX. “Second Sight” was released in 2002.
