Getting scoffed at in the grocery store introduced me to an anti-fluoride movement. I was shocked and confused and then sad.

I am going to incorrectly spell fluoride so the algorithm picks it up: flouride.

I am not a medical doctor (but I do think you should brush your teeth with a fluoride toothpaste.)
