Dr. Oh Nam KWON is the 22nd President of the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST), Korea's foremost civilian science and technology organization representing over 600 member institutions. She is only the second woman to lead the organization in its six-decade history.

A professor of Mathematics Education at Seoul National University, KWON currently serves as President of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education (PME), where she made history as the first Asian woman to hold the presidency. She previously served as President of the Korea Federation of Women's Science & Technology Associations (KOFWST) and is a member of the Presidential Advisory Council on Science and Technology.
Her distinguished record of leadership has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Presidential Citation for the Promotion of Science and Technology (2020) and the Svend Pedersen Education Award from Stockholm University, Sweden (2021), among others.
