This animation shows the location by city of coauthors on MRC papers. The data was reported by MRC funded researchers via Researchfish in October – December 2013.
Thomson – Reuters provided information on over 138,000 international (outside of the United Kingdom) addresses of coauthors on those MRC papers. The height of the bars is proportionate to the number of coauthors with an address in that city. For scale the largest number of coauthors in a single city is around 4,500 in Boston, USA.
