Leathercrafting Project Level: Intermediate

Today Daniel Reach is building one of your requested leathercraft projects—a Renaissance Faire belt pouch, now available as a Weaver Leather Supply kit. Modeled after an early 20th century camera case design, this belt pouch could be used for a number of things, both in the Ren Faire world and for everyday functions.

This design was suggested by Shane Cessna, and we loved it so much we turned it into a complete kit you can build yourself. The project features a laminated, two-tone leather construction that adds structure, durability, and plenty of room for creative color combinations.

This is a great project if you’re ready to step beyond beginner builds and want to practice lamination, curved gussets, saddle stitching and clean hardware installation.
