The Interlocking SR Series explores a fascinating variation based on the traditional split ring technique.
While the foundation is a standard split ring, passing the shuttle through the hand loop transforms an ordinary sequence of rings into an elegant interlocking chain. This simple modification creates new visual effects and opens many possibilities for decorative lace elements, jewelry components, borders, motifs, and original tatting designs.
In this series, I share different ways to use interlocking split rings and demonstrate how small changes in technique can create completely different results.
