Originally released on the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, News at 11 utilizes cozy, smooth jazz tracks and samples them with various news, commercials, and talk show clips from the day of September 11th. The album creates a sort of “what if 9/11 never happened” narrative by having its samples abruptly cut right before they begin making any mention of the attacks, always being interrupted by comforting and easy listening jazz
