EDIT (19/11/2019) Hello! Was informed that pressing the "L" key on PC at the right time will skip ahead 10 seconds, which is exactly the amount of time I placed between each segment! This can be a work around, but of course it doesn't really test your timing by a split second. :p
EDIT (02/02/2019) It's somewhat playable here now: dev.invidio.us/watch?v=lw7uCL9osjA. The poor timing was handled well on YouTube but is very noticeable (and in some parts game breaking) on this site. It's my fault for not going back and trying to clean it up. ;-; Also it's fetching the annotations from here: https://archive.omar.yt/api/v1/annotations/lw7uCL9osjA
Hopefully this will be fixed in weeks to come!
EDIT (~12/01/2019) PLEASE NOTE! Best to play this via YouTube's iFrame player (youtube.com/embed/lw7uCL9osjA?autoplay=0&controls=1&fs=1&iv_load_policy=1). Reason being that YouTube will now refresh the entire page every time annotations are clicked (i.e. really annoying). Annotations should be enabled automatically for that link but it's good to check again anyway.
There's only a few days remaining before all old YouTube annotations are removed on 15/01/2019, so I'm finally making this public! This was a rushed job and would definitely do a much better job if another site ever implements annotations.
Now for the older (and really long-winded) text below...
---
Firstly, let the video load ahead for a while if possible. Video will still probably buffer as it can't keep up with all the annotation clicks; something to do with having less copies of this video to fetch from around the world if it hasn't been watched recently (makes sense since this was unlisted for a long time). Either way, should've planned this buffering part better hmm...
To clarify again, click the squares when the red bar is depleting (i.e. *after* the red bar completely moves to the right, and *before* it has depleted completely).
It's game over if these are clicked *too early* or *miss*. It'll keep going after waiting 10 seconds at the "Try Again" page, so click that or pause it.
Sometimes multiple squares show up. Pay attention to the timing and see which one to click first. Note that some of the clicks seem to be ignored if they're done as soon as the next annotation appears. I checked all my timings and they should be correct and I don't know how to fix this (and it's definitely too late to change it now).
Obvious source of inspiration (LittleshyFiM’s version which is clearly better and more planned out): youtube.com/watch?v=3qEdCJp9j3Q . Should definitely give that one a play in the next few days.
This may be the last YouTube annotation game ever uploaded before adding annotations are gone for good. :/ Cutting really close to the 02/05/2017 deadline this time. I was going to go back and add more stuff but here I am uploading with less than 24 hours left, and I've still got to set out the annotations and check for perfect timing. T.T Also probably the last time I'll be rushing to upload anything for a while. I owe too many people stuff and my uni studies are starting to get compromised. Anything else that may appear spontaneously will be simple edits (or some convention footage that I also have yet to upload). (EDIT: ...and now probably the last annotation game before annotations are *completely* removed from the site. Didn't think it would come to this so soon. Enjoy the last few days before January 15th!)

You have been warned! This is indeed a massive spoiler. :x Im aware someone else has beaten me to the re-upload thanks to my super crappy internet. ;-; Of course, I must feel better about myself so Im still uploading anyways. :v I did clean up the audio a bit but otherwise its more or less the same.
(I have a feeling a certain company doesnt like multiple copies of the same thing floating around at the same time, so you might want to use the original just in case: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qD8Q_USb1PU) [SPOILER] MLP Season 8 Animatic @ HASCON 2017](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/mxZktxIxtXM/mqdefault.jpg)
