Carolyn Dube | Intentionally Imperfect Image Transfers with InkAid @CarolynDube | Uploaded September 2023 | Updated October 2024, 9 hours ago.
Perfect isn't always ideal. Sometimes having crisp perfectly straight edges isn't the goal like when I'm adding an image onto a gel print. That's when I want those worn irregular aged looking edges and it's a snap to do with the InkAid image transfer process.
Getting started video: youtu.be/tj0UAzSKv5U
includes how to make a transfer, how to mix the Transferiez solution, what kind of inkjet printers work best with the transfer film, and more! If you're wondering what to print on your first transfer, I've got a free download of images for you- you can get it at bit.ly/3tgLzwm

Want to play? Want to know specific ways to let go and have fun? Join the fun in my free mixed media workshop Permission to Play acolorfuljourney.com/permission-play-free-workshop
You can find me designing stencils for StencilGirl Products, teaching in person and online workshops and sharing the message of O.O.P.S. here on YouTube and on the blog, aColorfulJourney.com
What does O.O.P.S. stand for? It stands for Outstanding Opportunities Presenting Suddenly.
Those “failures” and “mistakes” that we so harshly criticized ourselves about actually became true gifts as soon as you start saying O.O.P.S. Try saying Oops in an angry tone. It makes it even more silly!
I just can’t take myself seriously when I say Oops which is just what I needed to play. I began to play, to have fun, and to embrace all of my “mistakes”.
