Hi Folks, this is my new design for an intelligent Hopper Minecart loader which I hope will be useful in your worlds. It's quick and simple to build, too. Works on all Bedrock systems (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, MCPE, Windows 10) as well as Java Edition
It's designed for when items are fed into the loader using a hopper line and uses a hopper minecart to load them up and carry them to somewhere else, whether that's the top of your mine or to distribute items into your super smelter.
It has a number of advantages over the currently used designs. The main advantage is that the minecart doesn't need to be full when it leaves. It can cope with mixed loads, partial loads or full loads - and can detect when there is nothing more that it can pickup. There's no extra waiting time.
