Intel Arc support has officially arrived on SteamOS, and we are testing the brand new Intel Arc B580 to see if it can power the ultimate budget Steam Machine! In this video, we dive into the SteamOS 3.9 Beta to benchmark 1440p gaming performance directly on Intel Battlemage. While it's not perfect—thanks to the open-source Linux Mesa drivers currently missing support for Intel's XMX AI engines and Frame Generation—the raw performance using FSR and base XeSS is still incredibly impressive.
