Been a while since I've uploaded anything. I have been delidding processors for a while and thought I would show how I do it. This i7 dropped 9C from the hottest core at a 5.1Ghz all core overclock. I've had others drop as much as over 30C and some as little as 2C, but generally you can expect around a 6-14C drop.

The end of the video has the results. OCCT small set AVX2 is the hottest test I can find, and use that to check the difference. Ambient is controlled to 72F. On an open bench with an NZXT X63 at max pump speed and 1400RPM for the fans.
