Learn how to set up your Intex ZX100 Automatic Pool Cleaner in 11 easy steps:
1. Screw the hose collar nut to one end of the hose – 00:15
2. Assemble the brush with brush support, then press it into the slot at the back of the cleaner – 00:18
3. Place the micro-screen inside the pressure release valve – 00:26
4. Check your filter pump’s flow rate to figure out which position to press the button into – 00:34
5. Unscrew the nuzzle from the water return connector (inside the pool) and replace it with the pressure release valve – 00:57
6. Screw on the end of the hose with the collar nut to the swivel joint. Then screw the swivel joint to the pressure release valve inside the pool – 01:07
7. Extend the hose to the opposite side of the pool wall and cut the excess with scissors – 01:18
8. Connect this end of the hose you just cut with the hose collar nut – 01:25
9. Secure the hose to the pool cleaner by turning clockwise and using locking the hose elbow – 01:30
10. Hold pool cleaner vertically and slowly lower device into water – 01:39
11. Turn on the filter pump and make sure the water is flowing through the micro-screen and pressure release valve – 01:46
To clean the pool cleaner – 01:59
1. Turn off the filter pump and disconnect the power cord – 02:00
2. Lift the auto cleaner above the water till all the water has been released – 02:05
3. Remove the hose, turning the hose collar nut counterclockwise – 02:12
4. Flip the cleaner over and push the left and right levers to unlock – 02:16
5. Wash off the debris net and base, using a garden hose – 02:26
6. Reassemble pool cleaner – 02:30
