A new feature in the After Effects Beta called Proportional Scrubbing lets you animate multiple layers and properties at once, distributing the changes across your selection. Instead of adjusting values one by one, you can create cascades, spreads, and gradient-style animation with a single drag.
In this tutorial I’ll show you how it works and how to use it to quickly build motion graphics and even a simple 3D parallax scene.
