This window was the one thing we wanted to change in the renovation that didn’t make the cut. It wasn’t original to the house, but a white vinyl replacement that had taken the place of the original sometime before we got here. Paint helped it blend in, but it never fully matched the charm of the kitchen. Adding this insert gave it the character it was missing, and turned something I once disliked into a place my eye now loves to rest.
