In my last video, I showed you how I brought my 20-year-old Honda into the modern era with a fresh Android Auto/Apple CarPlay head unit—and y’all seemed to love it. I still daily that car, by the way. It just won’t quit. 😂
Well, guess what? My dad saw that video and immediately wanted the same upgrade for his car: a 2009 Toyota Highlander that’s basically part of the family at this point. So in today’s video, I’m giving you a quick tour of the Highlander, talking about its story, and showing you how I install a modern head unit in place of the old DVD player setup.
📍Spoiler: This car has been rock-solid since 2009. It’s been through road trips, family chaos, and time—and it’s still going strong. From the original suspension to the fabric seats that haven’t sagged at all, this thing is built different.
