Most Home Assistant guides assume you have a Raspberry Pi — this one doesn't. In this video, I show you exactly how to install Home Assistant OS on any PC using a USB drive and Ubuntu Live, no prior Linux experience needed.

Minimum hardware requirements for running HAOS on a PC
How to create a bootable Ubuntu USB with Balena Etcher
BIOS settings to configure before booting (UEFI on, Secure Boot off)
Using Ubuntu's Disks app to flash the HAOS image directly to your drive
