I’ve been using Insta360 cameras for years and have owned previous generations, so this isn’t a first-time look at 360 cameras. I wanted to take the X6 out and use it the way I actually shoot — walking around New York City, capturing the skyline, testing the Invisible Selfie Stick, stabilization, image quality, reframing, and different lighting conditions.
The big question for me is simple:
**Is the Insta360 X6 actually a meaningful upgrade from the previous generation?**
Rather than sitting in the studio talking about specs, I wanted to see how the X6 performs when I'm actually out shooting.
In this video, you'll see my first impressions, real-world footage, creative shots, and my initial thoughts after spending time with the camera.
And this is just the beginning. 👀
I’ll be putting the X6 through much more testing, including a direct comparison against the **Insta360 X5**, low-light performance, stabilization, audio, battery life, and overall image quality.
