Biophysics major Hailey Currie offers advice on finding balance, expounds on the welcoming communities she found at @UTAustin and reveals why frustration with what you’re learning is actually a good thing.
Hailey attributes much of her success at UT to the supportive and welcoming community she found in @UTPhysics and has been passionate about supporting that community in return. One way she did that was by designing new demos and leading volunteers in a physics demo showcase at STEM Girl Day by @UTWiSTEM. She has also been a leader in and worked with many student orgs, including the Society of Physics Students, Gender Minorities in Physics and the Astronomy Students Association.
