West Jordan, UT — (KUTV) -- A West Jordan woman is reaching out to victims of domestic abuse in a unique way.

Martha Garcia's three-car garage is full of help for those in crisis.

She hopes to help women who are leaving an abusive situation by giving them the clothing and supplies they need to get back on their feet.

"I know when they leave the abuse, they leave with nothing," Garcia said. "They just grab their kids and run out the door."

She calls her effort "Passionate Wings." It was inspired by her own mother who escaped an abusive situation at a young age.
