(KUTV) Maclain Drake is planning a big event that requires a lot of high tech equipment and great music.
It's a high-energy electronic dance music concert just like ones you can find at the Sky, a club in downtown Salt Lake.
But there is one major difference: Drake's concert, called "Vibe," will cater to the deaf.
"I think a lot of people have a thinking that only hearing is the only way that you can enjoy a concert, which is not true at all," he said.
Drake speaks from experience. He is partially deaf and wears hearing aids.
