Lily Schmidt was a skilled forger and con artist who had over 40 different aliases and could change her appearance effortlessly.
She spent time in Riker's Island and a federal prison in Kentucky for her criminal activities.
Lily was arrested for attempting to have two federal agents who had arrested her killed, but she claimed mental incompetence as her defense.
A forensic psychologist, Barbara Kerwin, was tasked with evaluating Lily's sanity, and she ultimately concluded that Lily was faking her mental illness. Lily was sentenced to 30 years in prison for attempted murder.
