Every year I am lucky enough to be invited to go to Glastonbury to shoot the Theatre and Circus fields. This is a passion project, I don't get paid to do it, but for one week i get to pretend that I ran away and joined a circus. I meet amazing a great bunch of amazingly people. Not just the performers but all the people that work small miracles in the background to bring some of the very best circus acts in the world to a farm in Somerset. This year I was given the loan of a set of Sirui Nighwalker lenses to play with. These are small t1.2 super 35mm prime lenses that are ridiculously cheap, yet they produce a quite mesmerising image with lovely bokeh. Shooting behind the scenes at the circus as well as some of the acts at t1.2 is quite a challenge, but I think it was worth the effort.
