Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, is more than just a dot on the map - it is the legendary birthplace of Piper Aircraft.

In this interview, AVweb’s Matt Ryan sits down with Ron Dremel, President of the Piper Aviation Museum, to celebrate four decades of preserving general aviation history. The museum’s story began in 1984 when a group of former employees decided to carry on the Piper family legacy after the company moved its operations. Today, the collection has grown from a mobile trailer to a massive facility housing some of the most significant aircraft in history.
