This time, I opened an SFC 2301 op-amp.

I could simply crack it open with a side cutter. The advantage of ceramic packaging is that since it is brittle, it is relatively easy to open it. More modern, epoxy packages are nearly impossible (at least for me) to open while preserving the silicon die.
