I have a bunch of old circuit boards lying around, full of transistors and other stuff, and I thought it would be fun to look at the inside of some of those components.

I grabbed my metallurgical microscope together with a mirrorless camera and recorded some footage at different magnifications.

I added scale bars so you can see how tiny those features are on this transistor.
