This time, I opened a 2N2222A transistor in a TO-18 package. The transistor is an NPN general-purpose amplifier transistor. I added some drawing that shows the base and emitter of the transistor. The collector is buried, so it is not visible. Unfortunately, I could not use the 40x lens because the silicon die was in the packaging (I could not remove it) and the lens was hitting the packaging. I should get a lens with a larger working distance.
