Inside London’s Most Broken Town: What Happened to Croydon?
Croydon was once known as one of the busiest, most successful retail hubs in South London. But today, the reality on the ground tells a completely different story. In this video, I went to investigate a town centre that has fallen way below the belt.
What I found was shocking. As you walk the streets, the signs of a severe social crisis are everywhere—from boarded-up shopfronts and major businesses closing down permanently, to the heartbreaking reality of homelessness and addiction playing out on almost every corner.
I took my camera right into the heart of the town centre to capture the raw, unfiltered truth of what is happening to our streets. This isn't the version of London you see on the news. This is a real look at a community left struggling in the shadows.
