My brother went to Tokyo and somehow ended up visiting both Junie Moon stores for my 62nd birthday. He FaceTimed me from Junie Moon Daikanyama so I could choose a Blythe, then grabbed a cab and went to Junie Moon Harajuku so I could keep shopping!
In this video, I’m sharing nearly four minutes of rare footage inside the stores, including incredible displays of vintage Blythes from 2001–2004. Then, we’ll dive into the haul, a styling session, and an unboxing of the lovely Sailing Dominique.

Inside the Tokyo Haul:
At Junie Moon Daikanyama, I chose Sailing Dominique. My brother also brought home postcards, a Blythe ’zine, some Blythe shopping bags, and all the lovely packaging that I will obviously be saving forever.
At Junie Moon Harajuku, I spotted Lavendula Babe modeling the Dear Darling Loving Care Dress in Sprinkle. I immediately asked my brother to get the outfit, along with the shoes and some fancy Blythe knickers.
Blythe Customizing & Styling:
I styled my Lavendula Babe to look like the store model using some handmade decora-style clips and a gummy bear necklace. I also share a peek at two more birthday Blythes:
